Patty Cantrell, who manages the Michigan Land Use Institute's NewEntrepreneurial Agriculture project, recently returned from Seattlewhereshe saw first-hand what sound economic and land use policy can do toassist farmers and conserve farmland. She reports on FarmLink, which matches new generation farmers likeAndrewStout with landowners who want to sell or lease their property foragriculture.
