8 Video Games Based on 'The Power Broker'

A game design competition based on the most famous biography of Robert Moses's life attracted more than 100 submissions from around the world.

Nicole Levy reports on the results of a recently concluded game design competition called "The Power Broker." Yes, the design competition challenged game enthusiasts to design a game based on Robert Caro's weighty tome, The Power Broker.

Levy's coverage of the event begins by focusing on "Good Authority," the game awarded the title of "best video game runner-up." In "Good Authority," the "player takes on the role of the first Parks Commissioner himself, clicking around a map of 1930s New York City to steer his driver's limousine and complete missions like rebuilding the Central Park Zoo."
