"As Albemarle County and Charlottesville consider changes to how decisions are made about land use in urban areas, the former head of Nashville’s planning department briefed local developers and officials Wednesday on his city’s transition to a 'form-based' zoning code," according to an article by Sean Tubbs.

The event was organized by the Charlottesville chapter of the Urban Land Institute, bringing together several of the leaders of Nashville's form-based code update. The article serves as an explainer, of sorts, of the concepts and talking points of form-based codes.
