Reporting for the Associated Press, Bree Miller writes of the dangers of cyber attack created by the proliferation of the "Internet of Things."

The report follows the major attack on New Hampshire-based Dyn Inc., a server infrastructure company.

According to the article the distributed denial-of-service, or DDoS, attack on Friday is becoming more popular with spread of the Internet of Things. With all the new kinds of devices attached to the Internet (like thermostats, TVs, and more), there are more targets for attack.
