An article on Buffalo Rising reports on the projects and ideas included in the Buffalo Billion II program, as announced by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in the second of six 2017 State of the State addresses planned this week.

Included in the programs proposed in Buffalo Billion II are a light rail extension to the UB Amherst North Campus and a transit hub in the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad (DL&W) terminal on Main Street.

In all, Gov. Cuomo proposed 20 projects totaling $500 million for the Buffalo Billion II program. Corruption charges have plagued the original Buffalo Billion program, though Gov. Cuomo remains undeterred.
