The Cabela's Inc. superstore will get $27 million in public funding in an effort to draw other businesses. It's part outdoorsmen superstore and part taxidermic wonderland: The state hopes a huge Cabelas store opening this fall--nearly half of its $58.8 million cost subsidized with state and local tax dollars--will help revive one of the state's most economically depressed areas.
