A group of researchers monitoring government websites noticed changes to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's website. The changes fit into the Trump Administration's "America First" politics.
"The Environmental Protection Agency’s website has begun to transform under the Trump administration," reports Brian Kahn.
"Federal climate plans created under former President Obama, tribal assistance programs, and references to international cooperation have been stricken from the site," according to Kahn's summary of the changes, as discovered by a group of researchers at Environmental Data and Governance Initiative (EDGI).
The Trump Administration started rolling out the changes on January 22, just days after making news and frightening environmentalists by removing all references to the Obama Climate Initiative from the White House website. Kahn cites several experts in the article who further the narrative of the Trump Administration endeavoring to erase the Obama Administration's legacy of environmental regulation.
