The age-old controversy over the cost of parking in heating up in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati.

"Businesses in an up-and-coming Cincinnati neighborhood are fired up over a plan to start charging for parking in its business district," reports Andy Brownfield.
The East Walnut Hills Assembly provided the forum for the drama, as businesses and residents voiced their complaints about a contract with Star Parking to manage parking at two surface lots in the neighborhood. "The revenue from parking would be used to maintain the two lots as well as for things like grass maintenance and beautification," according to Brownfield.
Opponents to the proposal cite concerns about a loss of business and a loss of convenience.
