The U.S. Conference of Mayors, eager to work with the White House on promised legislation regarding infrastructure, has created a task force to work with President Trump.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will lead a task force representing the country's mayors to try and work with the White House on infrastructure upgrades. "The U.S. Conference of Mayors has been vying to get in on the ground floor of Trump’s campaign promise to upgrade U.S. roads, bridges and airports," Melanie Zanona reports for the Hill.
Despite the desires of the country's mayors, many have doubts as to when Trump will move forward with an infrastructure initiative or whether the initiative will ever happen at all.
