Thomas Musca shares news of a new short film by filmmakers Menilmonde that imagines Manhattan underwater.

The film, titled 2°C New York City, shows a "desolate city where there is liquid instead of streets" and "a dense skyline with a population of zero," writes Musca. You can watch the three-and-a-half minute film here.

Zoe Rosenberg also used the film as the impetus for an article about climate change impacts in New York.
