Tokyo's Shibuya Station area is in the midst of a massive "once-a-century" renewal project. Tokyo's Shibuya, known for its bustling youth and pop culture, is perhaps the most famous shopping and entertainment district in Tokyo. It is home of one of the busiest train stations and perhaps the most famous street crossing in the world. Seven new mixed-use buildings are planned, and the station building and plaza are being completely redeveloped.
