"The unlikely development team consists of a traditional home builder, a devout modernist architect, a clean-cut young real estate agent and a scruffy former member of Atlanta rock 'n' roll band the Black Crowes. Together, they envision eventually converting a grid of industrial back streets near City Hall East into a SoHo-like district of lofts and art spaces... The three-story building at Glen Iris and Angier will include 13 live-work townhomes, each including a 1,000-square-foot, glass-fronted shop space downstairs and a 1,000-square-foot residential loft upstairs, selling for under $300,000."
