A popular program to allow street performers (aka, buskers) into station areas on the Seattle region's Sound Transit system has been expanded.

"Sound Transit announced it has expanded its street performer program, taking it beyond the pilot program at University of Washington and Capitol Hill Link light rail stations to Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Columbia City, Othello, Tukwila, and Angle Lake," reports Doug Trumm.
The Busker program allows performances in select areas in certain stations in the system. The expanded program allows performances by larger groups and in additional stations. Both street performers and transit users expressed support for the program through a survey.
