What to Expect From the Chicago Transit Authority in its 8th Decade

The post chooses the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the CTA, which occurred at the beginning of October, to look ahead to the future of the transit system. Greenfield and Vance list the following the project, while including a lot more detail and links to more information on each:

  • Wilson Station rehab
  • 95th Street/Dan Ryan station reconstruction
  • Garfield Green Line improvements
  • New Damen Green Line infill station
  • The Red and Purple Modernization project
  • The South Red Line Extension project
