[Updated January 16, 2018] A Los Angeles-based developer known only by a Twitter handle, @HousingforLA, pens an op-ed for Urbanize.LA that lists a long prescription for the state of California's housing woes.

The list is generated from an assumption that the state's lack of housing is damaging its existence, and that the state must increase its housing production by several orders of magnitude. Thus, the list varies from matters of zoning to procedural improvements to questions of state versus local control to incentives for the real estate industry, and more.
