Popular online comic strip xkcd took a stab at the issue of self-driving cars, blasting a comic strip through its twitter feed this week that wonders if self-driving cars can really be safe. The uncomfortable question underlying the whole comic is that nagging fear about how much trust we put in each other every time we step out into a car dominated world.
