Construction is wrapping up on a new high-rise residential tower cleverly dubbed Catalyst, signifying a shift in urban living in the city of Houston.

Nancy Sarnoff reports from Houston, where Chicago-based developer Marquette Companies recently unveiled a new residential tower located near Minute Maid Park in a revitalized, bustling neighborhood.
"The new tower, at 1475 Texas Ave., rises 28 stories and contains 359 units," according to Sarnoff. "Amenities include a 2,200-square-foot fitness center and outdoor yoga lawn. The pool area has an outdoor kitchen, large-screen televisions, bocce ball courts and fire pits. There’s also a pet washing station, dog park and a demonstration kitchen on the 26th floor with a lounge area and wraparound balcony." In another perk for baseball fans, some of the units and a penthouse terrace overlook the ballpark.
