Sunday Fun: Vote for the Best Buildings in Illinois History

Voting is open until April 13.

The state of Illinois is celebrating its bicentennial this year. One of the ways its honoring its history "by choosing the 200 most significant people, places and things in state history in online voting coordinated by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, The State Journal-Register and the Illinois Bicentennial Commission," according to an article from February in the State Journal-Register.

The voting is now focusing on buildings, allowing those interested to vote early and often (five votes a day, in fact) for choices like the Tribune Tower, the Farnsworth House, the John Hancock Center, the Willis Tower, the Robie House, and Wrigley Field.
