On June 2, all bus rides in the city of Lafayette, Louisiana will be free. "The No Pay Bus Day promotion applies to all three transit services, including Daytime, Night Owl, and Para-transit," KLFY reports.
The event aimed at promoting the city's public transit will coincide with Bike Safety Week in the city. "Cyclists can take advantage of the free bus day by biking to a transit stop and then transporting their bicycles on racks attached to the front of each bus," KLFY reports.
