Arizona Is Running Out Of Water

A report by the Interior Department suggests that Arizona may not have sufficient water to handle its growth.

"Arizona's water supply may fail to meet the competing demands of growth, agriculture, tribal claims and wildlife preservation, according to a new Interior Department report that outlines a plan the agency hopes will avert water crises throughout the West. The plan, released Friday by Interior Secretary Gale Norton, identifies 10 potential 'hot spots' where existing water supplies may run short by 2025, leaving users to fight for their share."
