The new Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center will build on the earlier work of the 100 Resilient Cities program.

"The Atlantic Council and Rockefeller Foundation announced the launch of the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center," according to Chris Teale.
The new center is intended to serve as a successor to the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities program, which reached a sudden conclusion late in March this year.
According to Teale, the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center is funded with a $30 million grant from the Rockefeller Foundation and a $25 million gift from business leader and philanthropist Adrienne Arsht.
"The center’s director, former Bank of America executive Kathy Baughman McLeod, said the new initiative will be focused on "100% implementation," while 100RC was more focused on planning and building," adds Teale.
