Celebrating Public Art in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's public art program has resulted in a number of new, contemporary works in public spaces, ranging from a futuristic mural called 'Yesterday's Tomorrow' to a giant, seated rabbit.

A slideshow of thirteen photos highlights civic improvement in Pittsburgh in the last twenty years. The photos include LED art on the side of the new convention center (completed 2006), sculptures in public plazas and outside the new stadiums, and murals celebrating the city's industrial history.
