$26 Million Civic Center Station Renovation Breaks Ground in Denver

Few cities in recent years have broadcast as many headlining transit investments as Denver. The renovation of a station handling 15,000 passengers a day is the latest.

The Regional Transportation District celebrated the official groundbreaking for a $26 million renovation of the Civic Center Station in Denver earlier this week.

According to an article by John Aguilar city and transit officials on hand described the groundbreaking as "the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter in downtown Denver’s transit picture." Others described the renovation as the largest investment in upper downtown in years.
