The Congress for New Urbanism has released the latest Freeways Without Futures list, updating a list we last saw in 2014.
"When cities tear down their freeways, they don’t regret it," writes Angie Schmitt to introduce the latest edition of the Congress for New Urbanism's recurring list of "Freeways Without Futures" (the previous "Freeways Without Futures" list was released in 2014).
Schmitt provides details about each of the ten freeways featured in the report:
- Buffalo: Scajaquada Expressway
- Dallas: Interstate 345
- Denver: I-70
- Detroit: Interstate 375
- Oakland: Interstate 980
- Pasadena: Route 710
- Rochester: The Inner Loop
- San Francisco: Interstate 280
- Syracuse: I-81
- Trenton: Route 29
