A 120-foot-tall Ferris wheel, proposed in the St. Louis neighborhood of Delmar, was dead on arrival with residents.

"Developers have nixed a proposed 120-foot Ferris wheel for Delmar Boulevard after neighborhood residents largely opposed the idea," reports Mike Faulk, who provides more details on both the development pitch, and the opposition to the idea.
