Here are the cities where residents are the least likely to have a broadband Internet connection in their home.

The National Digital Inclusion Alliance used 2016 American Community Survey data to create a ranking of "worst-connected cities."
Michael Grass reports on the new ranking, which analyzes data about the number of households connected to broadband Internet—i.e., not households with access to Internet, but how many are actually connected.
"With 'fixed broadband Internet,' the U.S. Census Bureau includes wireline broadband technologies like cable Internet, DSL and fiber as well as satellite and 'fixed wireless' technologies. It doesn’t include 3G and 4G mobile service," explains Grass.
Brownsville, Texas ends up taking the titles for the city with the least amount of household Internet connection. Detroit, Michigan and Hialeah, Florida round out the top three.
