The city of Cincinnati is launching a new pilot program to introduce on-street parking options for scooters, mopeds, bicycles and other two-wheeled transportation alternatives.
"With more commuters opting for fuel-efficient, two-wheeled transportation, the city of Cincinnati said it will create parking spaces for them at several spots downtown.
The city, in a Thursday news release, said it will establish five sets of 10-hour, on-street parking spaces, each of which can accommodate three to five vehicles like scooters, mopeds and motorcycles.
'The city is responding to our customers living and working downtown who have asked for more parking for two-wheeled vehicles,' said Eileen Enabnit, director of transportation and engineering, in the release."
